Kirra Beach House has opened on the Southern Gold Coast and is the second of two hospitality venues launching as part of the first stage of the Kirra Point precinct.

The rooftop venue follows the launch of the ground-floor Kirra Beach Hotel which reopened its doors last month.

The rooftop venue features indoor and outdoor dining spaces, beach-front cabanas, multiple bars, a private seafood BBQ area, and multiple event spaces.

Food-wise, Head Chef Drew Wilson is serving up a Mediterranean-style menu which caters for both casual, post-swim eats to more special-occasion dining.

Guests can expect wood-fired pizzas from the venue’s Marina Forni oven, share plates, locally sourced seafood platters, and burgers.

Some of the dishes on the opening menu include a kingfish ceviche with citrus, orange, and native thyme; a fried fish burger with pickled zucchini and tartare; plus a tempura bug roll with smoked cocktail sauce.

Kirra Beach House Bars Manager Kaden Pool has curated a cocktail list that takes inspiration from holiday, resort-style tipples including a riff on a piña colada with Champagne and a spicy watermelon margarita.

“We have created something elevated yet approachable and effortless, that evokes the idyllic feeling of being on one endless, glorious summer holiday,” says SITE Hospitality’s Dave Galvin.

“The venue will have a beach club atmosphere about it, with great music, mesmerising panoramic views of Kirra, Mediterranean-style food using the incredible local produce we have on our doorstep, a world-class drinks list and, of course, great service.”

Kirra Beach House is now open at 2 Marine Parade, Coolangatta, Queensland.
