The team behind Goodwood wine bar Good Gilbert have announced they will be opening a sister venue Good Burger in Daw Park this January.
Led by Wilson Shawyer, Good Burger is set to host an American-diner-meets-neighbourhood-bar atmosphere with a modern, upmarket twist.
Head Chef Ashley Peek will spearhead the venue’s food offering which will take cues from American-style burger joints.
Guests should look out for the venue’s signature item the Daw Park cheeseburger with a potato bun, relish, wagyu smash patty, raclette cheese, cornichons, and diced onion.
On the drinks front, expect an impressive line-up of wines alongside cocktails, beers, spirits, and a spiked sodas menu.
The Good Burger team will showcase local produce such as cheese from cheesemaker Kris Lloyd and will also host exclusive products including a collaboration beer with Bridge Road.
2024 is shaping up to be a big year for Wilson and the GG team who are also set to open a 34-seater restaurant Asha in Goodwood, and an American-style sports bar in Torrensville.
Good Burger is slated to open in January and is located at 588 Goodwood Road, Daw Park.
